Meet the Team
Elena De Los Santos, LPC
Owner/Clinician

Elena started this practice while on her journey as a counselor, self-proclaimed nerd, and new mom. Re-discovering herself over and over as she moved through different seasons of life and knowing others are doing the same on the daily is what really sparked this venture of We Who Wander Counseling!
Here are the logistics: She received her masters degree from University of WI - Oshkosh in 2021 and entered this field post-pandemic as we all adapted to doing things virtually full-time/ hybrid. She has 5+ year of experience providing support to children, teens, and adults in multiple settings. She's been described as a "unicorn" of sorts in the way she builds rapport, helps skeptics of treatment find hope, and fosters therapeutic relationships that feel authentic and real.
She describes herself as a dreamer and her dream for this practice is to provide a positive experience in counseling that you may not have had before... dare she say, an experience that though challenging, you may even look forward to! She can't wait to meet you, learn about your inner world, and wander beside you to whatever's next! Therapy is unique to each person and she's right there with you; unique in her own right!
Maggie Tennie, LPC
Clinician

Maggie graduated from the University of WI - Oshkosh in 2023 and if you ask her, she'll tell you she became a counselor to empower others to learn to live unapologetically and in a way that honors true individuality. Maggie's approach is rooted in a balance of the classic support most people think of when they think of therapy, encouragement to explore, challenge, and process the complexities of being human, and modeling/teaching attunement.
She believes it is important for her clients to learn the whats, whos, and whys without feeling like they're stuck living in the struggle. She wants to walk with you through the darkest and brightest parts of your life to see you grow and reassure you that you're not alone.
Maggie enjoys diversity in her caseload of clients 13+ though has an extra soft spot for women over 40 who are exploring breaking free of societal expectations. The most rewarding part of her job is watching her clients grow and evolve!
